Als je ergens mag spreken van het beste van twee werelden dan is het wel Strijp R. Met aan de ene kant de groene ruimte van Landgoed De Wielewaal en het Philips-de Jongh Park en aan de andere kant een nagenoeg rechte lijn via Strijp-S en het Philips Stadion naar het centrum van Eindhoven. Hier woon je op een unieke, rustige plek en fiets je zo de stad in als je zin hebt in de dynamiek van de stad.
In 2013 zijn de eerste huizen opgeleverd en is er veel veranderd. Strijp-R is een fijne buurt geworden met een eigen identiteit, een eigen karakter, tevreden bewoners en onderlinge samenhang. Een identiteit die (subtiel) refereert aan het werken van Philips op deze plek. 

As the neighbourhood Strijp R is located between the city center of Eindhoven and its largest park, it gets the best of both worlds. To the North of Strijp R is the beautiful Landgoed De Wielewaal and the Philips-de Jongh Park. To the South, there is the lively area of Strijp-S, the Philips Stadium and the city center of Eindhoven. In Strijp R one lives in a unique, quiet area, yet one can cycle straight into the city for those who fancy its dynamics.
The houses were built between 2013 and 2020, while the neighbourhood gradually changed from the former Philips television factory site (thus the names of the streets!) into a pleasant residential neighbourhood with its own identity, satisfied residents and mutual cohesion. An identity that (subtly) refers to Philips working at this location.
